- Creation of new brands of high-nitrogen construction, tool, stainless and wear-proof steels under high pressure has been performed; steels having high mechanical and operational properties, including application in nuclear power plants.
- Fundamental research on the solubility of gases in melts of metals and alloys under pressure of 50 atm.
- Study of crystallization, mass- and heat-exchange processes on the surface steel – hard phase.
- Application of nano-modifiers for improving the structure of metals and alloys.
- Obtaining compounds composed of metals and non-metals or metals and gases hydrides, nitrides, borides, etc.
- Design and manufacturе of aggregates for production of steels and alloys under pressure.
- Powder metallurgy.
